How Do I Make My Blog Look Good In All Web Browsers?

Often when I am designing a blog I find it very challenging to make sure that the design looks good in all web browsers. Are their any special tools or tricks that quickly allow me to design in a way that renders correctly on all web browsers? Is there a program that warns me about certain CSS styles that works only for a certain web browswer but not the other? Long story short, how do I make my blog look good in all web browsers? This includes, Internet Explorer, Firefox, Google Chrome, Opera and Safari.

I guess the only thing is to test it in all the browsers.

Well, yeah…. that would indeed be one way… but is there a quicker way?
