Is Yahoo! 360 a Good Place To Start a Blog?
There are many different places you can create a free blog. One of these places is a Yahoo! 360. Really though, Yahoo! 360 is more than just a place to create a blog. It is a huge network where you can share photos, build web pages and meet other people within the network that share similar interests.
For me when I think of blogging, I kind of tend to think making money. I have to realize that there is a huge world to blogging and the aspect of making money online with a blog is very much in the minority.
I have only experimented with Yahoo! 360 and I must admit too that it was only very brief. I was quick to see that creating an account on Yahoo! 360 can be tons of fun and entertaining. However for me, there were many things that I didn’t like about the network. Such as the fact that any links you put into your blog are nofollow.
When I created my Yahoo! 360 account and set up the blog, it was my aim to build a secondary source for link building. It didn’t take me long to see that the links wouldn’t be credited and from there, there was no purpose for me to continue investing time into Yahoo! 360.
With that said though, I think for normal bloggers and folks who like to socialize online and meet friends, Yahoo! 360 is a fun community that is packed full of some really cool features. So what do you think, is Yahoo! 360 a good place to start a blog?

On the good end, Yahoo 360 is a highly publicized platform where new bloggers can get tons of attention. It’s easy to get set up, helps with tags and keywords, and offers tips on how to get traffic to your blog.
On the down side, anyone and everyone can get access to your blog. Granted, I haven’t had a 360 blog for quite some time, but I do know that a lot of people saw these blogs as a way to spam comments without any trouble and I ended up with a lot of unwanted and unsettling attention.
But, as far as getting started in the blogging world, it is a great place to start. Just be careful what you post and who you talk to.

Sure, it may be one of those things I don’t spend a whole lot of time on, but it’s there. Yahoo messenger is my main messenger for networking via messenger (lol) so why not have something for them to look at?
